Neurocardial Effects of Mezodiencephalic Modulation

The article presents the results of assessing the effect of a single session of mesodiencephalic modulation on the electroencephalogram, reoencephalogram, and heart rate variability in 42 healthy volunteers. A significant increase in the alpha rhythm power and RMSSD value was observed, and correlations were found between the dynamics of alpha activity and the parameters of myocardial electrical stability. These findings suggest that mesodiencephalic modulation has a potent effect on parasympathetic regulation and the stabilization of the psychoemotional state.
