The lack of systematic clinical observations and publications in peer-reviewed literature significantly limits the ability to objectively assess how often and in what situations dentists use dental composite colorants, the predictability of their clinical results, and which approaches are considered the most justified in practice. Conducting research that includes an analysis of available clinical approaches and a summary of survey data from dentists is an important step toward the formation of scientifically based, clinically relevant recommendations. The study objectives include summarizing and structurizing publicly available information on composite colorants and determining the frequency of use of composite colorants&amp;nbsp; by dentists in their clinical practice. Materials and methods. The PICO model was used to search for the literature. The literature search was conducted using keywords in databases. A survey of dentists was also conducted as part of the study. Conclusion. Systemic data on the use of composite colorants is of significant value to dentists, facilitating more informed material selection, increasing the predictability of aesthetic results, standardizing clinical protocols, and reducing the risk of errors associated with their incorrect use.
