In the structure of population morbidity, non-infectious gastrointestinal diseases (GID) are common among people of working age and significantly reduce the quality of life. Objective: to analyze the structure and dynamics of digestive diseases among the adult population of St. Petersburg for 2013&amp;ndash;2023. Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of the structure and dynamics of digestive diseases (DDD) in the adult population of St. Petersburg for 2013&amp;ndash;2023 was conducted. Results. There has been an annual increase in the incidence of common GI diseases: Crohn&amp;#39;s disease from 1.29&amp;nbsp;% to 3.44&amp;nbsp;% and ulcerative colitis from 1.97&amp;nbsp;% to 156.32&amp;nbsp;% in patients of working age (WA), and the incidence of paralytic ileus and intestinal obstruction without hernia from 1.13&amp;nbsp;% in 2022 to 61.62&amp;nbsp;% in 2023 in patients of retirement age (RA). There was a positive trend in the form of a decrease in the number of postoperative complications in both WA patients (3.49&amp;nbsp;% &amp;ndash; 0.23&amp;nbsp;%) and RA patients (1.35&amp;nbsp;% &amp;ndash; 0.34&amp;nbsp;%). The dynamics of the proportion of fatal outcomes (LO) reflected a decrease from 59.02&amp;nbsp;% to 21.67&amp;nbsp;% in WA patients, while in RA patients this indicator had the opposite trend, increasing to 86.88&amp;nbsp;% in 2021 and remaining high at 78.33&amp;nbsp;% in 2023. Diseases of the pancreato-hepatobiliary system are characterized by the highest mortality rate, both in patients of working age (13.72 % &amp;ndash; 16.53&amp;nbsp;%) and in patients of retirement age (18.60 % &amp;ndash; 19.04&amp;nbsp;%). Conclusion. Retrospective analysis for 2013&amp;ndash;2023 of the incidence of pancreatohepatobiliary diseases in the adult population of St. Petersburg made it possible to identify patterns of dynamics and structure, which can be the basis for optimizing the provision of medical care.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Concern for maintaining and improving public health is a pressing issue of public policy.
