Veneers can be made of substances of various chemical nature, including: materials based on a vitreous matrix, polycrystalline compositions, and ceramics based on a polymer matrix. With a high level of aesthetics, the manufacture of veneers cannot be considered a budgetary procedure, which increases the exactingness of people in the terms of using veneers. The available literature contains data on the preservation of a satisfactory quality of ceramic compositions for 3&amp;ndash;20 years. At the same time, the cited sources provide quantitative data characterizing the violation of the aesthetics of the tooth-veneer complex. Improving the aesthetics of a smile 144 veneers made of glass-ceramic material &amp;quot;IPS Empress Esthetic&amp;quot; (n = 76) and hybrid material &amp;quot;Estenia&amp;quot; (n = 68) were installed in 38 patients, 6.5&amp;nbsp;% and 11.3&amp;nbsp;% complications respectively were diagnosed over a six-year period of operation.
